New Years Program, Symphonies and Solo Concerts
Since 2009, members of the Klangvereinigung have organized regular tours in China as “The Vienna Festival Symphony Orchestra,” thereby serving as cultural ambassadors for Austrian music.
The concert programs of these tours consist primarily of the works of the great Austrian composers such as Mozart, Haydn, Strauß and Lanner, but also include traditional Chinese compositions. Solo performances by these young artists round out the evenings.
Their tasteful compilation of songs, and their passionate interpretation and performance continue to elicit praise from their audiences.

During their many tours in China, the orchestra performed in such cities as Shenyang, Hefei, Ningbo, Nanjing, Wuhan, Changzhou and Zhengzhou.
The performances in the Shenzhen Concert Hall, the Poly Theatre Nanjing and the Oriental Art Center in Shanghai, as well as the Opening of the Grand Theatre Hefei are remembered as particular highlights.
Gleich zu Beginn der zweiten Reise nach China konnte die Klangvereinigung im weltbekannten Oriental Art Center in Shanghai das Publikum begeistern, was zu den unumstrittenen Höhepunkten der Tournee zählte. Im einladenden Hauptsaal des Gebäudekomplexes zeigen sich jedes Jahr die bedeutendsten Orchester der Welt.
Zum ersten Mal überhaupt betrat ein Orchester die Bühne dieses imposanten luxuriösen Prachtbaus. Der Klangvereinigung wurde die große Ehre zuteil, das neu entstandene Kulturzentrum mit einem Neujahrskonzert in seine erste Spielsaison zu führen und das Theater eindrucksvoll zu eröffnen.
Auch bei seiner vierten Chinatournee gastierte das Orchester in Nanjing, erstmals allerdings im Grand Poly Theater. Ein elegantes Konzertprogramm u.a. mit Bernsteins „Candide“ Ouvertüre und Dvořáks 8. Symphonie bildete einen wunderbaren Abschluss einer gelungenen Tournee.
